Halloween Desserts: Chocolate & Peanut Butter Edition
I am going to be honest, Halloween is one of my least favorite holidays. Don’t get me wrong I love all things fall. But the whole spooky Halloween vibe is just not for me anymore. However, since I now have little ones, I want to keep the fun in it for them and not deprive them of something just because I don’t like it!
…even though I don’t enjoy much of the holiday, eating chocolate and candy is always a good time! This year I was going through Pinterest as most of do and I kept finding so many chocolate and peanut butter treats, a favorite in our household. So, I have put together a roundup of some super cute and easy recipes you can make with your kids - all chocolate and peanut butter and Halloween themed! Hope you and your kids enjoy them as much as we have!
These are just too adorable. I am in no way a fan of spiders, but these were just so cute and since my toddlers are into bugs right now. I thought these would be a great recipe to make with them!

I also found these for those of you who are looking for a chocolate and peanut butter option but also need things gluten free! Still adorable and delicious!

Who doesn’t love a good Chex mix!? These Halloween muddy buddies are simple enough to get the kids fully involved and something you can then store for a few days!

There is also this amazingly simple puppy chow you can do instead (or in addition to if you are really going all out in the sweetness department). I found this recipe from One Sweet Mess blog!
Halloween Chip Cookies!
I LOVE these and excited to make these with my boys and their cousins for Halloween! The colors look so perfect and festive. I also want to try to make a version like this with Reese's pieces, I found a recipe over at Fork Knife Swoon that have totally inspired me and look just as perfect for Halloween!

And for my final recipe a Reeses cupcake! This one is my own, but I cheated big time on this one by using store bough cake mix, something I don’t always do, but I wanted to create something fast. Then just tossed in some Reeses pieces to the batter. I do however, always like to my own frosting, so I can control the sweetness, so I have included the recipe for you below and you can adjust according to your own taste!
Reese’s Cupcakes with Chocolate Cream Cheese Frosting

Mix in either mini or crushed up Reese’s pieces
